Description

Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) produced by certain probiotic in the gut, which appears to support mucosal integrity.* Butyric acid acts as a primary fuel for the colonic epithelium (colonocytes), and via this means may be considered a support for the integrity of the colonic mucosa.* Butyric acid (“butyrate” when in salt form) is an important SCFA for this reason.*

Directions

As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule, one to three times daily with or without food, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
